Using Itara
Itara builds itinerary suggestions from available travel information and your preferences. It does not make bookings, hold reservations, or guarantee availability.
Accounts and guest sessions
You may begin as a guest. Trips started in the same browser can remain available there, but local browser data alone is not proof of ownership. Creating an account lets those trips move with you across devices. Keep your credentials secure and notify support if you believe your account has been compromised.
Saved trip data
Account and configured guest trips may be stored with Supabase, including planner choices, generated itineraries, packing state, reservation notes, and purchase access. Avoid placing highly sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
One-time trip purchases
The complete itinerary is offered for $14.99 USD as a one-time purchase for that generated trip. A purchase does not unlock unrelated trips or duplicates. Stripe collects payment details; Itara does not directly store card numbers. Access is granted only after server-side payment confirmation, not from a browser redirect.
Refunds and access
A confirmed full refund may revoke the related full-trip access while preserving the basic trip record and limited financial references needed for receipts and refunds. Partial refunds require support review. Applicable law and Stripe records still govern the final outcome.
Travel information
Places, prices, schedules, routes, weather, opening hours, photos, and reservation guidance can change. “Typical conditions” are historical context, not a forecast. Confirm important details directly with the venue or provider before travel.
Providers and estimates
Google Maps Platform terms and privacy requirements apply where Google content appears. Open-Meteo attribution appears with weather data. Itara’s schedules, duration assumptions, cost ranges, scores, and explanations are estimates—not provider guarantees.
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for travel documents, insurance, health and safety decisions, local laws, booking terms, and final purchasing choices.
Transactional messages
Supabase may send verification and password-recovery messages. When configured, Resend may send trip-ready and purchase-confirmation messages. Delivery failure does not change payment or trip access.
Deletion
Trip deletion removes the trip from normal access. Account-deletion requests remove profile data and trips, while limited purchase and security records may be retained where reasonably necessary.
